After halting work for Bruno Mars’ SelvaRey Rum, National Runaway Safeline nonprofit, NoMad hotel website and Velocity Cycling, Troup officially debuts.

Troup was founded by Matt dimmer and David White, who each have formal training in graphic design. Dimmer has worked in advertising for 20 years and has held positions in several agencies including mcgarrybowen, JWT, Vitro and Red Tettemer. He moved to artistic direction early in his career and oversees all advertising and strategic work as Creative Director. Whaite has been in the industry for 15 years and has worked at Vitro, JWT, Campbell Ewald and internally at Netflix. He is the Director of Design, overseeing all digital and branding work.

Their work has been recognized by The Dieline, One Show, Communication Arts, Archive, Print Regional Design Annual, Creativity (Pick of the day and Interactive Site of the Day), The FWA, Graphis 100 Best in Advertising, The Telly Awards, The Society of Illustrators of New York, AIGA and Graphic Design USA. They have also been featured in Mashable, Fast Company, PSFK, LinkedIn, Business Insider, Branding Magazine and The Colbert Show.

Troup has completely revised the brand image for Bruno Mars rum, SelvaRey, as well as a complete overall design including a special owner’s reserve. They also created foundational elements that are the backbone of all social content today. For the NoMad Hotel, the agency worked with Sydell Group to redesign the front and back of the hotel’s website ahead of the launch of its new London property. And they partnered with National Runaway Safeline during the pandemic to develop and launch a digital campaign through social media ads and a new website design to publicize what the organization does.

“Our take on bringing the craftsmanship of design to everything we touch is something we are proud of” Dimmer said, “But Troup believes in strong relationships as much as in craftsmanship and creativity. You cannot have the last without the first.

Troup was founded in October 2020. “The pandemic turned out to be a test for remote working – we were already working in this day-to-day model without missing anything. ” said White. “Of course, it helps when you gain the trust of your customers. Remote work requires faith. Confidence builds confidence.
