Santander Asset Management launches Santander Prosperity, its first social investment fund classified under Article 9 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). Created in collaboration with (RED), the fund will invest in cross-thematic global stocks of innovative companies whose products and services aim to address challenges in health and wellness, nutrition and education, and financial inclusion.

At least 30% of the revenues of the companies in the fund’s portfolio will come from activities linked to the United Nations’ 2015 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), making a relevant contribution to solving the main social challenges.

Domiciled in Luxembourg, the fund will be offered to investors in Chile, Germany, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom and the markets where Santander Private Banking International (SPBI) operates. It will later be launched in Brazil, Poland and Mexico.
