Overtime: Tennessee-Pitt final thoughts

The Tennessee Volunteers fell 41-34 to the Pittsburgh Panthers in the first “Johnny Majors Classic”. Despite the Vols’ ability to take a 10-point lead earlier, Pittsburgh took advantage of the opportunities and capitalized in the second quarter, taking a 27-20 halftime lead. Tennessee will host Tennessee Tech next Saturday at 12 p.m. ET, a vital game in assessing the quarterback’s situation ahead of one of the toughest clashes the Flights will face this season: a Week 4 fixture with the Florida in the swamp.
