The Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund (CIoSIF), backed by the European Regional Development Fund, provides commercially oriented finance through a debt and equity fund.
The British Business Bank has set up the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund in partnership with the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly LEP, and it is providing £40 million of investment to stimulate the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region.
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Investment Fund aims to transform the region’s small business financial landscape and realize the region’s economic growth potential through enterprise.
Government funding of £200m for the South West was announced in the 2021 spending review. The new South West fund will build on the success of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly fund across the region. You can find out more here.
